Code for the protection of personal data


The law D.Lgs 196/2003 (Code for the protection of personal data) imposes great caution and strict fulfillment in order to guarantee treatment of private data in respect of the rights, basic freedom and dignity of individuals with particular attention to confidentiality and personal identity. In compliance with the abovementioned law and as provided for by article 13, we give you the following information:

1. The treatment of your personal data supplied by you in the following form and signed for acceptance will be inserted in the data bank “Personal Data Doctors”, and has the sole aim of carrying out activities of scientific information regarding medicines for human use. The Istituto Biochimico Italiano Giovanni Lorenzini s.p.a. carries out these activities in respect with the laws in force, with particular but not exclusive reference to the law D.L 30.12.1992 n.541, and its subsequent modifications and amendments. Given the objectives of the Istituto Biochimico Italiano Giovanni Lorenzini s.p.a., it is important to mention that the treatment does not regard sensitive data.

2. Treatment may also be carried out with electronic methods and may consist of any operation or series of operations of those indicated in article 4 point 1, letter A of the law quoted with the exclusion, furthermore, of the spreading of data. Personal data regarding you may be communicated to third parties working for the company on data treatment. A list of names of all people, internal and external (where relevant) may be consulted in the data bank manager’s office.

3. Providing data is voluntary and not required by any norm currently in force.

4. The refusal to supply the requested data will make it impossible for the Istituto Biochimico Italiano Giovanni Lorenzini s.p.a. to carry out its activities of scientific informing regarding medicines on the market for you.

5. Article 7 of the relevant law gives you the ownership and the exercise of specific rights. The company responsible for the treatment of data is the Istituto Biochimico Italiano Giovanni Lorenzini s.p.a. with headquarters in Via Fossignano 2, 04011 Aprilia (LT)

6. The manager responsible for the data base “Personal data doctors/pharmacists”, of whom (according to article 7 of the law quoted) you can request your specific rights regarding your personal data (access, rectification, cancellation, transformation, opposition to a part or the whole) is domiciled in this function at the Istituto Biochimico Italiano Giovanni Lorenzini s.p.a.
